Invitation to Bid for Engaging MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER(s) for Demographic Data Digitization and Biometric Enrolment for the creation of NATIONAL POPULATION REGISTER FOR USUAL RESIDENTS OF Chandigarh from the organizations (single agencies/consortia) which have already been empanelled by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) as “Enrolling Agencies” for undertaking demographic and biometric data collection for enrolment of residents of UT Chandigarh.

 

Office of Registrar General & Census Commissioner of India (ORG&CCI) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India is creating a National Population Register (NPR) that will serve as a comprehensive identity database of the usual residents of the country. As part of the NPR, demographic and biometric information of all usual residents are being captured. The demographic information is to be captured from  the scanned NPR Schedules. These schedules were filled by Census Enumerators as part of the Census 2011 exercise. The demographic information thus collected will be digitized and thereafter, biometrics of all usual residents will be captured through camps planned at villages in rural areas and at wards in urban areas.

DOEACC Society (An Autonomous body of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India with Head Quarters at New Delhi), on behalf of DIT, Government of India invites two separate RFQs for Demographic Data Digitization and Biometric Enrolment in U.T. Chandigarh for the creation of NPR for usual residents  of Chandigarh from Enrolling Agencies Empanelled by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) for U.T. Chandigarh.
